Maintenance

Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Cleaning the dirty water tank and filter
Remove nozzle

Remove the front suction nozzle.

Remove filter

Pull the dirty water tank handle forward and lift the filter to remove. Rinse the filter under the tap to remove any dirt or debris.

Remove tank

Using the handle, lift the tank off the machine.

Remove tank cap

Twist to remove the dirty water tank cap.

Rinse tank

Rinse the tank through with warm water and tip out.

Changing the belt
Switch off

Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.

Remove nozzle

Remove the front suction nozzle.

Remove tank

Remove the dirty water tank.

Lift separator

Remove the two screws.

Lift belt cover

Lift the belt cover and remove the broken belt.

Replace belt

1. Loop the new belt around the rear shaft.

2. Loop the top of the belt above the small pulley and the bottom of the belt around the lower small pulley.

3. Feed the entire belt over the first large pulley.

4. Loop the belt around the front large pulley and rotate the front brushbar forward until the belt is in place.

Changing the brushbar
Switch off

Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.

Remove tank

Remove the front suction nozzle and the dirty water tank.

Remove screws

Remove the two screws.

Remove belt cover

Lift the belt cover to remove.

Remove screw

Remove the screw that holds the brushbar in place.

Remove brushbar

Tilt the machine back and pull the right side of the brushbar. Tilt the brushbar down to remove the silver cap and slide the worn brushbar out of the machine.

Fit brushbar

Push the brushbar through the opening until the screw plate and screw hole are lined up.

Replace screw

Replace the silver cap to right side of the brushbar. Lift the brushbar up and align with the brushbar chamber. Push the screw plate towards the screw hole until they line up and replace the screw.
